@jdlund my friend the first highlight of the clip was a flag about 28 seconds into it that was a helmet to helmet hit and besides there arent that many big hit safeties in the league anymore except i guess brain dawkins, him john lynch, and rodney harrison those days are over

@jdlund he's not a corner he's a safety he doesnt cover receivers he plays the whole field and if a play happens he goes for whoever has the ball so the coverage they're talking about is being able to read the play and stop it if he's getting tackles he's stopping it. from what i heard in training camp he is the hardest working 49er which can only be good he's determined and his coverage skills look better then advertised. he's a work in progress but has a lot of potential

@guillermoAlaguna, point out one hit in this video that would get a flag. None of them would. Not even with this new terrible rule about helmet-to-helmet cotnact. You don't get flags just for hard hits. If anything you get away with a lot more in the NFL than you ever could in college.

@healthyandyoung, just because someone racks up takcles does not mean they are good at coverage. All that it shows is that they can get to the receiver after they've caught the ball. I'm not saying Mays isn't good at coverage. I honestly haven't watched him enough to have an opinion on that. All I am saying is that a high tackle count doesn't mean he's good at pass coverage necessarily. His ability to cover was talked about as a concern during the draft, but the dude is certainly fast.
